Dr. Tatiana Chuzhekova is a hydrobiologist with more than 10 years of experience in bioassessment and monitoring of aquatic ecosystems. She holds a Ph.D. degree in hydrobiology and BSc and MSc in biology. She participated as a technical expert in different monitoring projects devoted to the quality of fresh (Russian Far East, Central and North-West Russia, North Ural, Finland) and marine waters (the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea). She has good practice in work with special protected environmental areas (national parks, nature reserves). She has experience in field sampling (benthos and zooplankton), literature assessing and analytic report writing according to national and international standards. She specialized in the ecology of benthic communities, crenobiology, and water quality analysis. Tatiana is regularly involved as a lecturer in youth environmental education.
