The initiative supports the UfM Water Agenda and contributes to regional cooperation, resilience, and innovation in water management.
Actual services provided by our staff within the assignment:
The team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the digital readiness of UfM member states, focusing on their institutional capacities and current levels of digital integration in the water sector. This included consultations with national stakeholders and the UfM Community of Practice to identify strengths, gaps, and capacity-building needs. Based on the findings, the team developed a tailored set of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and measure the effectiveness of digital transformation efforts.
In parallel, the experts designed and implemented training and capacity development plans aligned with the needs of member states. These included regional workshops and online sessions aimed at strengthening technical and institutional competencies for digital water governance. Strategic recommendations were formulated to guide national and regional actors in adopting digital tools and approaches.
Throughout the assignment, the team engaged in UfM events and technical forums to share best practices, facilitate knowledge exchange, and support regional collaboration. The team also ensured continuous project management, timely reporting, and quality assurance to meet the contractual obligations and support the overall impact of the initiative.
