This assignment supports the “Badakhshan Natural Disaster Prevention” project with training and awareness raising measures for previously developed disaster risk maps.
Actual services provided by our staff within the assignment:
Development of disaster risk map booklets with maps about floods, landslides and avalanches for Badakhshan and the user-manual, in English and Dari language. Training for trainers of district representatives, ANDMA, DRRD and PGO in Faizabad to use the maps. Identification of priority disaster prevention measures. Coaching of the national BNDP team for targeted use of maps in selected pilot communities.
